This policy explains how Peregrin (peregrin.travel), operated by Liam Conroy ("we", "us"), handles your personal information when you use our website and reservation service.

What we collect

• Booking details you give us: traveller name(s) as shown on travel documents, date of birth where the airline requires it, route, and travel dates.
• Your email address, so we can deliver your reservation and document.
• Payment information, handled directly by our payment provider, Stripe. We receive confirmation of payment and limited details (such as the last four digits and card type). We never receive or store your full card number or security code.
• Basic technical data (IP address, device and browser type, and simple usage analytics) collected automatically to run and protect the site.
• Any messages you send us.

Why we use it

To create and deliver your reservation, take payment, support you, keep the site secure and prevent misuse, send you service messages about your reservation (including a reminder before it expires), and meet our legal and accounting obligations. We only send marketing email if you've opted in, and you can opt out at any time.

Who we share it with

Only the providers that make the service work, and only as needed:

• Duffel — to create and manage your airline reservation (the airline holding the reservation also receives the booking details).
• Stripe — to process your payment securely.
• Resend — to deliver your reservation and service emails.
• Vercel — to host and serve the website.

We do not sell your personal information or share it with advertisers. We may disclose information if required by law.

International transfers

These providers operate internationally, so your information may be processed outside your country, including in the EU, UK, and United States. Where required, appropriate safeguards apply.

How long we keep it

Only as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations, then we delete or anonymise it. Reservation data held by the airline/Duffel follows their own retention.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and to stop using it for marketing. Email hello@peregrin.travel and we'll respond within a reasonable time and any period required by law. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information and work with reputable providers (Stripe, Duffel, Vercel, Resend). No system is perfectly secure, but we limit access to what's necessary.

Children

The service isn't intended for children and shouldn't be used by anyone under 16.

Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to run the site and understand basic usage. Where required, we'll ask before setting non-essential cookies.

Changes

We may update this policy and will post the new version here with a new date.
